Bill Bathe

Forshaw of St. Louis, Inc.

St. Louis, MO

(314) 874-4245

In 1969, I started Bathe Distributing and strictly sold to homebuilders, one-stepping.  I later opened a retail store just North of St. Louis in Hazelwood, Missouri, which represented more than 14 different manufacturer lines.  I served as president of Bathe Distributing from 1974-2005.  In 2005, I decided to sell my business to Forshaw of St. Louis, where I still work doing builder sales.  Currently, my wife and I live in St. Charles, Missouri, and have six grown daughters and nine grandchildren.

I’m honored to have served on the MWHPBA Board for the past 14 years and as your treasurer for 7 years, and as your president for the last 4 years.  I enjoy the camaraderie and interaction with the MWHPBA board and its members.  I would appreciate your vote of support.

Craig Bohnsack

Kasten (Kasten Masonry Sales, Inc.)

Jackson, Missouri

(573) 243-3591

Kasten is a fourth generation family operated business founded in 1895. We are a distributor of brick, stone, fireplaces, pools, and spas with several retail locations in Southeast Missouri and Southern Illinois. I joined Kasten in 2014 as CFO and became CEO in 2017. My background before joining Kasten was 13 years in the banking industry.

I am a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a Master of Business Administration.

I joined MWHPBA in 2014 and have enjoyed attending MWHPBA events. Thank you for your consideration and I would ask for your support to serve as a MWHPBA board member.

Dan Devlin

Southwest Fireplace Supply

Frankfort, IL

(815) 806-9700

I grew up in the fireplace business.  My father opened his first hearth store in 1972, exposing me to all aspects of the business.  My summer vacations were spent selling and installing fireplaces, barbecues and cultured stone.   After graduating from the University of Illinois in 1988, I started full-time employment in my father’s fireplace business.  In 1995, I purchased an existing hearth store, Southwest Fireplace.  My wife, Linda, and I now have three full service hearth stores.  In addition to having a strong retail presence in the Chicago-land market, Southwest Fireplace has become a leading fireplace installing distributor.

I have enjoyed my experiences in the hearth industry, as well as the fifteen years of service on the MWHPBA Board.  I also appreciate the honor of serving as the MWHPBA’s Region V Board Representative on the HPBA National Board.  I would appreciate your support in my reelection.

Jake Hunter

Results Unlimited

Granger, IN

(502) 244-0615

I have spent the last thirteen years as a manufacturer’s representative in the hearth, patio & barbecue business with Results Unlimited.  As an independent rep I have had the opportunity to call on a variety of retailers and distributors thus forming many great business as well as personal relationships along the way.  I reside in Granger, IN with my wife Beth and our two beautiful daughters Paige and Clare.

For the past 10 years I have had the pleasure of representing the MWHPBA as a board member.  In 2016, I was appointed to the National HPBA board as your MWHPBA representative.

Working closely with the other board members has been a valuable & enjoyable opportunity, the position has allowed me to share real-time information on industry issues such as the upcoming 2020 NSPS emission requirements on wood stoves, forced air furnaces & pellet appliances. I appreciate your vote on my re-election as a MWHPBA board member.

Joan Nutting

Springfield, Missouri

(417) 869-1513

I am a native of Springfield, Missouri. After moving to the Panhandle of Florida, I earned my Bachelors and Masters Degrees from Florida State University, taught special education, remodeled homes as a General Contractor, and enjoyed beach living.

My marriage to Greg Nutting brought me back to Springfield, Missouri. After 3 years in education and running my handyman company, Honey Do’s Done Right, I started working at Maschino's in 2013 where I am the Assistant Manager.  Maschino's specializes in Patio Furniture, Grills, Fireplaces, Outdoor Kitchens and Outdoor Living Areas. I am now one of Southwest Missouri's top outdoor designers.

Cheryl Wormek

HMI Fireplace Shops

Osage Beach, MO

(573) 348-9002

I began like most children of Hearthmasters by working at HMI right out of high school in 1987.  I have worked in clerical, sales and installations.  In 1990, I helped establish a second location in Billings, MO for HMI, and later expanded it to the Nixa, MO location in 1991.  I worked in every capacity a specialty hearth shop would require, all while attending Drury College in the evening for a business degree.  In 2000, my husband and I opened a new location in Rolla, MO, again working in all capacities until 2004 when we moved back to HMI's headquarters in Osage Beach, MO and assumed managerial control to allow my father the ability to leave the day-to-day operations.  I have over 20 years experience in the hearth industry, an NFI certification in gas and multiple manufacturers’ certifications.  I currently live in Camdenton, MO with my husband, Charlie, and our two children, Grace and Parker.  I believe my "boots on the ground" perspective would benefit MWHPBA's board and look forward to tackling the challenges faced by our industry.
